Unless you have been living under a shell, you must have heard crazy stories about pot brownies. Brownies in itself are among the most wonderful human creations, and weed brownies are fun to make, absolutely delicious in the moment, and enjoyable for hours. What’s there not to love?
However, in order to make pot brownies, people often end up adding the crushed goodness in the batter itself, feeling disappointed with the effects after. That is because such an approach tends to kill the very potency of the strain. The magic ingredient here is cannabutter. If you haven’t read our recipe for that yet, you can find it here.
Once you have cannabutter with you, making the most delicious pot brownies ever is a child’s play. Let’s get you started!
Preheat your oven to 350F. Grease your baking pan with cooking spray or butter.
Melt both the store-bought butter and cannabutter together in a saucepan over medium heat. Mix in chocolate slowly and keep stirring until the mixture seems to have a smooth texture. Cool it for 5 minutes.
Mix flour and baking powder together in a bowl.
In another larger bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and a dash of salt until you have a fluffy mix which is light yellow in colour.
Add the chocolate mixture into the egg mix until combined. Add the flour mixture next and mix it all together until you have a brownie batter consistency.
Pour this batter into the greased pan and bake it for 20-25 minutes. Keep a careful eye and bake it basically until you notice the edges starting to pull away from the baking pan.
Let it cool for 20 minutes and cut into 12 squares.
And there you go, your delicious and gooey pot brownies are now ready!
P.S. Edibles are a whole different game than smoking weed. So, you need to be very careful about how many you eat. The effect starts to kick in about 1.5 hours later. And while taking seconds would seem highly irresistible in the moment, you need to be patient. Especially if you are a newbie to edibles, you need to let the brownie digest for the high to hit. Like they say, a little goes a long way!
P.P.S. The case of munchies is real with these, and with such delicious brownies right before you, it is very easy to accidentally overeat them. So, we highly recommend making a second tray of non-pot brownies for them cravings!
