These Are The Craziest MDMA Confessions & Stories We’ve Come Across

by Nitya Cyriac on April 01, 2021  in Drugs

For the uninitiated, methylenedioxymethamphetamine or MDMA is a synthetic, psychoactive drug with a chemical structure that has both stimulant and hallucinogenic properties. It is a drug that increases feelings of euphoria, produces an energizing effect, and leads to distortions in time and perception for those who ingest it. The drug is usually ‘cut with’ different substances to produce ecstasy (yes, the colourful tablets with logos) and Molly (in pill and powder form).

Molly and ecstasy are also street names for MDMA and they’re known as love drugs, hug drugs, and happy drugs too. But well, some of the MDMA stories and confessions we’ve come across would probably make you think otherwise.

In fact, we even asked our Origin IG fam and scoured through the depths of the internet (thanks to the rabbit hole that Quora is) to find you some of the most entertaining, crazy, and even plain random MDMA experiences out there. Have a good trip.. erm read.

When God starts talking to you…

Source: Reddit

“It’s funny how much a tiny pill can mess with your head. The best thing that happened to us was that a friend who hosted these “parties” went to a mental hospital because God started talking to him. 3 years have passed and only now have I started feeling like myself again and enjoying life. Looking back on it, I don’t think it was pure M, probably some shitty RC. I don’t know why I’m talking about this here, this is not a hate letter to M. It’s fun when done right, just felt like sharing. Love to all you beautiful people.”

And then you become obsessed with aquariums –

“I started a WhatsApp group with some people I met in the smoking area called ‘We’re all going to the aquarium tomorrow.’ We did not go to the aquarium.”

Being on E is a lot about cleanliness for some –

Source: Quora

“I remember a few funny things I did. Once I was in the shower and I shampooed my hair, then I’d pick up the conditioner after rinsing but it would be a shampoo and so I’d rinse it again and think I was conditioning my hair, yet it’d always be shampoo.

A similar experience was when I took off my dirty jeans and put my clean ones on the bed. I kept picking up the dirty jeans to put them in the hamper but kept assuming they were clean jeans because they were in my hands and so I’d put them back on.”

While others end up in unrealistic Hollywood parties –

Source: Reddit

“When I take MDMA I feel like it turns me into the type of person who lived the life of someone who attended one of those unrealistic Hollywood parties that are always portrayed in movies or alternatively hung out with Dan Blizzerian and a house full of naked women, sex, drugs, and dancing. Take that feeling, that experience, and throw in a lot more group hugs and love – instead of 40, turn that group into 4 and that in my mind, quite accurately describes the events that occur when I take MDMA with my wife and our two best friends.”

A Reddit user really did experience the love drug’s ecstasy –

Source: Reddit

“Took 120mg of crystal in some water about two hours ago and holy f*ck this is one of the best things I’ve ever experienced. I feel so full of light and happiness, I can’t believe something like this could possibly be illegal. Something I didn’t expect is to have years of built up trauma resurface all at once. I cried for a long time but it felt amazing. I feel like I can finally move on. I love you all and wish you all happiness and peace. Thanks guys for introducing me to the miracle that is MDMA.”

This Quora user’s MDMA insight is pure genius (#DestroyAllNukes) –

Source: Quora

“You’ll discover your inner empathetic self. You will want to hug trees. You’ll understand Republicans (or Democrats). You will forgive just about everybody. Your parents. Your ex.

Then you will have the horrid insight that if everybody in the UN took this drug and sat down, and your local parliament and congress too, there would be no more wars. Gorbachev would say “Hey, how about we destroy ALL nukes? Just the HELL of it?” (Which he actually did). And Ronnie Reagan, on MDMA himself, would say “Sure, sounds like something we haven’t tried. Has to be better. Who’s cooking tonight, you or me? Looks like we’ll be here late, writing up these agreements. Better call the Big Five and Israel too.”

But then it wears of. You realise that people who most need it will never, ever take it.”
